OASIS-C1 is basically the version of OASIS Data Set. It was developed after the OASIS-C. It got approved by the OMB that is Office Of management and budget on 6th Feb, 2014 and its implementation was started was started on 1st October, 2014.

It's purpose was to accommodate all the transitions to the diagnosis coding system of ICD-10. Anothet important point is to address all other stakeholder concerns like Updation of all clinical concepts, improving item clarity and revised item wording.
