The minimum wage act in Oman has the lowest amount of wage a worker can get for his work. It does not have the nation-wide minimum wage law. According to the records, the minimum wage of oman is 225 Omani rials per month, which is equal to the 592 dollars. Approximately, the minimum yearly salary of oman is around 7000 US Dollars. It was last time changed in July 2013. This law is valid for all the private sectors in Oman. If an employee is paid less than the mentioned in the minimum wage act, he can claim his right under this act.
