A salesperson who is focused on only getting an immediate sale without concern for a long term relationship with the customer displays
A
conventional morality
B
the kind of behavior expected of salespeople
C
ethical behavior
D
excellent selling skills
A. Conventional morality
Conventional morality is a phase in morale development of an individual, wherein he/she understands the rules and regulations clearly and takes action for immediate benefit. The salesperson in this case demonstrates similar nature. He is interested in immediate sale and not building a strong relationship with the client.
Though most of the sales persons are driven towards increasing sales, not all exhibit unethical behavior. The attitude mentioned above is neither demonstrating ethics nor excellent selling skills.
