The type of decision making a consumer uses for a product does not necessarily remain constant. Why?
Correct, Consumer decision to buy a product do not necessarily remain constant due the several factors and consideration in his mind and some of the factors keep changing every next time customer think of the same product. For example, A consumer buys a Product Alpha which is of a high rate in comparison to Beta which is cheaper- So consumer did this because at that time he has plenty of money and very less to spend. So he prefers quality over the money.
Now for the same product, customer after some time preferred Beta brand because he is short of money and just wanted to utilize the product.
Other factors like Change in the taste and preference, the influence of others, availability of alternate product or change in the market condition let customer behave differently on different occasions for the same product
