Do you play by the rules of where you are working or is there a universal set of ethical principles that should apply that disregards the exact geographic location?

Answer #1

Yes as per my experience and views we must take the advantage of cost saving. We are not misusing anything which from government or local society and business ultimately goals to maximization of wealth and business always run for profits. Shifting the manufacturing units to some other place to enjoy the cheap labor ,I do not think it is wrong or unethical business practices.

As manager I will approve to shift the manufacturing to that place where actually possible cost saving on labor but I will analysed the situation of that place and government support at that place. I will analysed each and evrev aspects of that place analysed every factors like feasibility, infrastructure, water , transportation etc.

Actually as manager I need to follow a common combination of local and universal rules and ethical practices because local community has always major impact on manufacturing unit.
