1) Source globally means procuring the inputs to production or manufacturing activities from cheaper source of availability. Companies go global to tap the local resources which may be low prices, quality inputs and abundant one. Even, human resources can be source globally to take cost advantage and skills variety.

2) Companies like Google, IBM, Microsoft etc, are hiring graduates from INDIA to reduce their cost of software development.

Automobile companies like Ford, Toyota etc. are manufacturing in China due to low tax and cheaper labor force.

US Oil companies exploring in Saudi Arabia and IRAQ etc. to take manifold advantage in terms of cost and minimum efforts.

Amazon and Wal-Mart are also procuring resources from overseas market.
