Freight forwarder works by providing shipper a service that must use LTL rates because they do not produce sufficient volume to use TL rates. The shipper will use the $5 LTL rate without the freight forwarder. The air forwarding industry is working with the air carriers and air forwarders to organize and tender shipments in containers ready for aircraft launching. This results in substantial savings for the airlines in managing the ground. In the transport sector, environmental regulation, safety regulation and economic regulation are regulated.
