On private-public partnership,Would you recommend internal development, strategic alliances/joint ventures, or acquisition as the means to achieve this diversification?

Answer #1

On private-public partnership, I would recommend strategic alliances because it helps in reducing the overall cost of the Project as the resources will be shared between both the Organizations. Moreover the burden of managerial control could also be shared between Private and the Public entity in order to oversee the performance of the tasks so assigned and thereby contributing towards various areas of strategy or maybe even to one in particular such as technology, Product development, etc. In terms of accountability also, both the parties shall be equally accountable and hence the burden of the same shall not rest upon any entity solely.
