Kwame Raoul is in charge of the Illinois Attorney General's office. As per the records, he is the 42nd Attorney General and was born in Chicago. It is important to mention that he earned his degree from the DePaul University. Raoul's legal career started in the Attorney's office as a prosecutor. Raoul was appointed as a State Senator in 2004 and represented the 13th Legislative District. The office of Attorney general is to protect the general interest of the people in the state of Illinois. Furthermore, the office also ensures that the public interest must be respected and followed. The consumer protection division of the Attorney General's office provides protection against unfair business practices, deception, and fraud.
