PDSA- Plan-Do-Study-Act. It is a type of rapid cycle improvement strategy which constitute 4 stage rapid cycle quality improvemnet. In this strategy the very first step is to plan for a strategy, second one is implement the strategy in a small group or sample, then study the result and if result is favourable then act on the strategy.

DPMO- Defective Parts Per Million. - It is a part of lean strategy making where ratio of the number of defects in one million opportunities is calculated.

VSM strategy- Value Stream Mapping is a process to depict and improve the flow of manufacturing and production process. Inherent waste and losses within an operation can be identified easily through this.
