1. Victory is a motorcycle manufactured by Polaris company that made distinctive product of high quality and advanced technology. They emphasized on their manufacturing capabilities for their growth. They adapted the differentiation as well as cost leadership. They analyzed the market and developed a cruiser that would be unique as well as satisfy the needs of the customer. For implementing differentiation they increased horsepower of the engines by increasing their size, placing engines on the frames helped in balancing the bikes and gave innovation to the design. An advanced braking system used in the sports bikes was used in their bikes. They used the capability to reduce the cost of manufacturing their product was also a strong core compentency of theirs.

For their development in the field of motorcycles they made aquisitions with companies. Polaris ganied a competitive advantage by manufacturing Victory, a bike that has exclusive features to attract the customers like bigger engine, more energy and easy handling; and minimum cost strategy by in house manufacturing of engine and other parts. Even after being premium priced they enjoy a position of high competitive advantage in the market.
