Question; suppose an employee comes to you and reports they have a restraining order out on their spouse or partner. What, as HR, do you do?
Answer = As the employee has a restraining order against the spouse, thus it will be termed as the workplace violence under the type III category. In order to deal with this type of issue, the HR manager must ensure that the spouse of the employee is not permitted to enter the office premise or at the location where the employee is working. Apart from this, the HR manager can also provide the training to the employee to manage the situation if he or she is subjected to any type of violence by the spouse. The HR management also ensure that all the steps are taken to prevent any type of violence incidence from the spouse of the employee
