Situation: Creating an IPad detailer of a pharmaceutical brand for Doctors

This is an example form my work experience. When we engage with a creative agency to work on brands, they charge a retainer fees based on scope of work which includes expense of almost everything concept creation, creatives, content writing, medical writing, IPad detailer, etc.

While working on one of the IPad detailers, a big misunderstanding occurred when the invoice saw a deviation from the agreed retainership fees. The agency did not put HTMLising of IPad detailer in the scope of work and the client assumed that HTMLising was part of IPad detailer. This caused deviation from the agreement and the agency had to bear the charges. The client further requested for addendum of scope of work to avoid such misunderstandings.
