Whether in school or at work, working in a group environment is inevitable. Even in one's personal life, the group dynamics are evident - family interactions, volunteer work, church life, etc., and all depend on being able to function and accomplish goals with others.
Give an example of a strong group effort in which you have been involved (work or school), and compare it to a group team experience. What made the strong group work so well? How did you feel being part of that group? If you were in a group that was struggling to perform, how would you go about helping the group work better? As a supervisor, how would you address a group with a low performing member?
One such experince during my real life happened at my graduation school. I was a part of an NGO team within school called 'Make A difference' . It was a very active group who provids support to childrens of weaker economic class society under age of 18. They provide free eudcation support , medical aids . They provide better outcomes of childersn mostly based out of orphanages or from weaker class society. The team has group opf volunteers who conduct classes and provide medical and other food aids to those children . The team was so enthusiastic and innovative. For the fund raising the team has conducted band shows and use their internal talents fro stage programs and they also have incubation center to develop ideas such on supporting such childrens and provide them or guide them for a better future. I feel totally proud and challenging to be a part of the group. First few month I felt I am misfit for this team because I am unable to manage my studies personal work with the team requirement. Later on I started enjoying and become part of many of their process initiatives and I was one of the lead co ordinator for their blood donation campaign to a medical college for childrens dialysis and cancer treatment center. The team colloboration, enthusiasm everything was perfect and they beleive in collective results rather than inidividual performance.
