The difference between digital and traditional marketing are discussed as follows-
1. Digital marketing uses digital media such as social media website where as traditional marketing uses traditional media such as magazines newspapers etc.
2. Digital market is value to money approach as compared to traditional marketing which is expensive.
3. The results can be monitored in digital marketing it gives a detail of Analytics of the consumer response whereas in traditional marketing the results cannot be tracked, as to what is working or not.
4. Digital marketing requires professionals who are expert in it whereas in traditional marketing the medium used for advertising is itself an source of advertisement.
5. In traditional marketing the hard copy of product service description can be read again and again where as in digital marketing the description is in soft copy over the website which can be accessed anytime anywhere as per the customers requirement.
6. In traditional marketing companies must wait for several days to get the result where as in digital marketing it gives quick result and it is easy to get the real time marketing results.
7. Digital marketing the consumer can escape The interruptive part and continues to engage with the product whereas on the other hand traditional marketing consumer cannot choose to skip the advertisement which is causing interruption.
8. Online marketing involves two way communication traditional marketing involves one way communication.
9. Digital marketing involves reaching the target audience where as traditional marketing involves reaching out to all the people at large.
