Eating habits are determined by the lifestyle, income and taste of a Consumer. Obesity is a major concern in US because their income is high and they don't do much manual work and irregular eating and junk foods all lead to obesity.

Now In US consumers are buying products with low sugar and calories. So the market of fast foods and cold drinks which have high sugar and calories is decreasing. Now more and more Consumer are buying sugar free drinks and low calorie food. So the markets of these goods are increasing.
