Gender discrimination is when someone is treated less because of his gender. When the genders are not treated equally. In this case she was fired because of slapping the co-worker. There are rules and regulations in the company which deals when the employee is not disciplined the concern authority will take care of those who are not disciplined. She should not take any law in her hand. So the fire was because of her behavior not because of gender. So this is not an example of gender discrimination.
