Bottleneck is a constraint situation in a process which cause delay in further steps or crate more waiting time . This is majorly due to lack of capacity or limited capability. Bottleneck will seriously impact the effectivieness of a process as well as the overall productivity. An example of bottleneck is lack of proper space in packaging area of manufactruing plant which results in delay of finished goods storage. This causes delay in order management as well .
