Answer #1

Tools and advances involved in a report writing process are the the guidance received from the instructors, set of procedures to be followed for report writing, formal structure of report writing, primary and secondary research conducted by the person, surveys etc, use of various report writing methods etc. These tools and advances help in governing the report writing process and give a formal structure to the report and also help in recording and analysing the findings of the report.

The common difficulties faced during report writing are the lack of sufficient matter for writing the report. For example this lack of matter could be due to inadequate data findings or inadequate research conducted which could lead to less information available with the person. Also secondary reasearch data might be less with the person which could lead to hampering report writing. Also improper consultation and no help taken from the instructors might also lead to difficulty in report writing.
