Business organizations today generally comprise of dedicated team and units because they want to promote the professionalism factor in the business process and hence they have formulated and possess units based on the requirement of the organization. Generally product based organizations and even service based organizations possess a team dedicated for designing whose primary objective is to create the end to end designing of a product or service and professionals from the same sector are employed in this team so that the team creates sense of professionalism within the organization itself. If we look at a product based organization for example a steel plant we can actually understand the importance of designing because design is considered to be the most important stage and a lot of money is involved hence the team cannot afford to make any mistake here because that will make the organization incur huge loss.

Not only in product based organization, but also in service based organization there is a designing unit to create and formulate the plan of the service that is prepared. Designing is one aspect of the business which is considered to be a very important factor in business today and there is no way that this can be ignored because it is the base of the product after the planning and if it is not conducted in a rightful manner then there is no way the product or service can be successful. Depending on the type of business the criticality of the designing team depends for example if it is a steel plant then the criticality is huge but if it is software organization then the criticality is low compared to that of the steel plant.

Recruitment and training needs to be effective and proper based on the requirements that are possessed by the team and while recruiting such employees the primary focus should be on knowledge and innovation factor and the training and development programs that the organizations need to provide has to be different from what it is provided to other teams. Core technical knowledge and strong basic knowledge about the aspect is required and the urge to learn is something very much required so that they can discover new avenues through which it will help the development of the product or service.
