We need to consider the fact that Apple’s approach in every market remains the same, whereby following their “one size fits all” approach, the company aims to not only sell its product in the country but also raise the standard of competition in its market. We would argue that this would not have an impact over its culture but the fact that customer behavior can be influenced through strategic marketing, placement and especially when the brand is a big name like Apple, the iPhone would be considered a premium offering, and even though it is priced comparatively higher, products with much fewer features or pricing would be compared to it as a benchmark standard. When the first iPhone was launched, there was no other company offering such cutting edge technology and putting it in the hands of the customers, which can be considered to be the first step the world took towards a shift from desktop-based computing to one while was mobile, much smaller, always available, comparatively cheaper to carry and could collectively provide every function that we would rewire in our daily life. This has directly impacted our culture, in the sense the people now want more, they want more technology they want faster iPhones and they want them at cheaper pricing compared to the previous offering. Rather than saying that the iPhone was culture affecting, we can say that it was culture developing, creating a culture that believed in the power of technology, that valued mobility, and functionality. On the other end of the spectrum, we can say that it has brought the society relatively closer to one another and with the rest of the world creating an interconnected network that relays information, knowledge, and data almost every second, at unprecedented levels. It has also made software comparatively cheaper for the end-user, by bringing the iPhone and the AppStore, Apple has been able to reduce the effective pricing of premium software that is available to the end-user, allowing the general populations to be equipped with the best the world has to offer, also, the fact that the individuals are more knowledgeable, more inclined to accept a revolutionary change and have shown that pricing does not defer quality, means that Apple and iPhone have brought positive changes in the world, through the different countries it does its business by continually molding the different cultures throughout its lifecycle.
