This type of management style eliminates communication gap across levels, improves employee motivation and engagement and facilitates exchange of ideas and elaboration on the matters of strategic importance. The managers who adopt this style can be seen collaborating and working together with their subordinates on vital issues, and coming up with path breaking ideas and often lead to rational and informed decisions, The employees in such organisations are known to be more productive, motivated and engaged, while having greater belongingness for the company, resulting in lower attrition rates and lesser workplace conflicts, giving the company a competitive advantage.
