Homework Answers

Answer #1

I would choose the option 2 i.e. at least 5 advertisements from three different channels.

The five ads are:

  1. Vogue Ad starring Gigi Hadid on Facebook: The ad campaign launched by vogue for their eye wear seems to be effective. They have made usage of catchy song and tried to place their product suitable for a holiday or when going out in sun. I believe I can be a potential customer for this ad as I may recollect this brand while going out on a holiday
  2. American Tourister ad starring Virat Kohli and Christiano Ronaldo on You Tube: The celebrity power of this ad makes this ad very effective. While buying a bag to go for a vacation of business travel, I may remember this ad
  3. Apple X ads "Shot on IPhone" on Bill Boards in the city: The photographs used in the billboards are of superior quality and instantly puts a thought that iPhone has the best camera around in the smart phone category. I may recommend buying an iPhone for its camera
  4. Durex Ad in the newspaper: The witty one liner used by Durex is eye-catching. I like the way they put across the message in a subtle and witty manner
  5. Coca cola ad on Spotify: Coca cola ad was effective as it allowed users to listen for 30-minutes without ads in exchange for watching its small ad. This is a clever way to advertise wherein they gave the message of spreading happiness. Coca cola build its equity through this campaign amongst the Spotify customers by sponsoring the famous tracks
