Just-in-time manufacturing is a production model in which items
are created to meet demand, not created in surplus
JIT can also be used in day to day life activities
For eg.- While going to work, just-in-time to
catch a bus to the train station, just-in-time to
catch the train, just-in-time to
arrive at my office etc. can be followed
When we buy all the rations of our house just in time so as to
curb the wastage of old ration due to expiry, this reduces the
operational cost of kitchen
When we use the electricity only when needed, this reduces the
electricity bill
When we leave to office exactly on time, so as to save time and
energy
Hence JIT can reduce extra work we do in our daily tasks
