Answer #1

John Kenneth's central argument in his work titled “The Affluent Society” was that there was a threat to economic stability by widening of the gap between richest and poorest citizens of America. His book outlined the economic changes post World War 2 in the US. The private sector of the economy was becoming wealthy while the public sector was at other ends of the spectrum. The public sector lacked social and physical infrastructure and these differences between sectors perpetuated income disparities.
