a. If 43 units of the end item are to be assembled, how many additional units of B are needed? (Hint: You don’t need to develop an MRP plan.)           

b. An order for the end item is scheduled to be shipped at the start of week 13. What is the latest week that the order can be started and still be ready to ship on time? (Hint: You don’t need to develop an MRP plan.)     

I got 442 for part 'a.' which was incorrect. This is what I primarily need help with.

L = 2*43 = 86

Available L =8. So Net requirement of L = 78

Available C = 12

Net requirement = 43 – 12 = 31

K = 3 * 43 = 129

Available K = 17

Net requirement = 129 – 17 = 112

B = 2L+2C+2K = 2*78 + 2*31 + 2*112 = 156+62+224 = 442

Available B = 32

Net requirement = 442 – 32 = 410
