BP should bring safe working environment that takes care of the best interests of the different stakeholders such as employees, communities, ecological system and regulatory bodies. It can only be done by implementing the best practices and guidelines provided by OSHA and other agencies. It will help BP to rebrand themselves to be a company that values its different stakeholders. Besides, the safety first is the only way to achieve profit as safe work environment and practices, bring improved productivity, efficiency and reduction in losses that could happen due to litigations in court. It will improve the profitability in the long term. Hence, BP should go for safety first and profit will follow the company in the long run.
