First I would take the consent of the person who has applied
for a job in our company
The next step I would check some basic information about the
person on the social media channels
Then look for the criminal record which can affect the brand
image of the company and the working environment
I would also ask the potential employee to take a drug test
just to make sure that he is not using abusive substances
I would share the information with the applicant if I find any
negative information
I would provide a chance to the applicant to prove that the
background verification report is false
If their record is clean then I would also inform the person
that he has cleared the background verification
I will store the verification data in the company database for
the future reference purpose.
I will offer the employment to the person who has passed the
verification and I will not compromise on the negative impact a
person with negative history can have on the company
