Divisional structure is a type of organizational structure in which each product or unique services offerings will have separate division in terms of people and resources. A divisional structure might be developed on the basis of regional geography. For example: Unilever might have various product divisions like Soap, Shampoo, Consumer, Client support etc.Many times a parent company like GE may have divisions like solar energy, consumer finance, GE medical equipments etc. Each business will have its own structure, strategy and objectives to achieve.
