Nikes Inc. managment apply the Perpetual method of inventory management, That involves continous monitoring and movement of inventory as the trasaction take place. The main object is to maintain operations managemnt that will yeild lower inventory cost and will maximise efficiency and effectiveness.

It is so far prefered method used for tracking inventory.as it yeilds real time inventory details with good amount of accuracy on ongoing basis.It can be operated by multiple locations as it can be linked with computers and updation con be done through it. It has great use over to plan material requirement planning system.
