Personal network: In this network strategy, we develop a link with external people i.e. people from outside of the workplace with whom we share something common traits. So referral potential makes this network strategy powerful. The main purpose of this network strategy is to exchange important referrals and needed external information. We can find such network members in professional associations, clubs, alumni groups etc.
Strategic network: In this network strategy, it involves all around ties with all stakeholders within and outside of the organization. The main purpose of this network strategy is to focus on future priorities and challenges and getting support of all stakeholders in such priorities and challenges. We can find members of this network strategy functional and business unit managers, individuals beyond your direct control etc.
