Homework Answers

Answer #1

Yes, root cause identification and analysis a reliable technique because it actually provides details about the actual cause of the problem and such methods are used when finding solution for a problem is taking time and is complex. This technique has been used by organizations to find out the actual cause behind an issue this actually helps because once the actual cause is known we know what needs to be done to get rid of the issue.

The basic difference between risk register and root cause analysis is that risk register is a risk management technique whereas root cause analysis is a problem solving technique where the problem is identified and solved. Risk register acts as a repository which contains details of all the risks that have been identified and also consists oaf some more information regarding the same, on the other hand root cause analysis is the process which tracks events occurring and reach to the actual cause and identify the risks and also take actions to resolve them.
