Answer #1

The elements of self-concept are:

  • Academics
  • Gender identity
  • Social skills
  • Competencies
  • Physical appearance
  • Family

These elements play an important role in deciding the behavior of a person. These elements also make a person unique and give a clear picture of the identity a person holds. A person who is well educated and has the skills to communicate well with others then he can be very attractive to people as a person. People can approach him easily and discuss various things to improve the knowledge. Physical appearance and the gender identify also matters a lot in the well being of a person. The men and women have different appearances and the gender identity also helps the people in identifying them easily. A person coming from an educated family will be aware of the right things to do and he will make sure that the people around him feel comfortable. This will also have an impact on the leadership ability of a person.

All these elements I have observed in one of my friends who is s doctor now. We studied together and he was a great student. He had a very good family background and had excellent social skills. He had the charm to attract people and make them listen to him. He was kind to the people in need and never discriminated people based on gender. He was tall and lean and he also took part in fashion shows and he had a very charismatic look. I have seen that all these elements made him a better person and we always found him very approachable and he always had time for us to sit and discuss the problems. His self-concept was great and he is still a great person to talk to.
