Answer #1

One thing that I found interesting and did not know is the existence of color therapy. I knew that stress management and psychological counselling was needed for many people. However, using color to heal people’s psychological issues was a new idea itself.

It is true that color invigorates people and gives them energy at times based on the type of color. However, using this to control and minimize stress never occurred to me. Now, it is even more surprising that color therapy itself is derived from Egyptian civilization, which makes it very old.

My favorite color is Green. It has mental association with “Cool, Nature, and Water” and objective association with “Money, growth, quiet, peace, refreshing”. It also has a subjective association with “Disease, terror, energy, and faith”.

Many of you do not know that businesses employ quite a few economists. One source for information about the various roles these economists play is the National Association for Business Economics (NABE, http://www.nabe.com). Among other activities, NABE members can join one (or more) roundtable groups. A list is available at http://www.nabe.com/rt/index.html. For this discussion, access both these sites and look for some of the interesting jobs economists hold. Choose two that you might be interested in pursuing and explain what...

Knowling goes on to say about fear that once people know change is coming, 'you can cut it with a knife'. He implies this is normal as well, which I too agree. He then says that his way of 'dealing with it' is to tell people that they need to deal with the fear and not let it immobilize them into doing nothing. Again I agree with this statement, but I am not fully supportive of the notion that you...
