Compare/Contrast the sustainability of online and traditional shopping. Is online shopping more sustainable than traditional in-store shopping?

Yes I think online business is more sustainable than offline business because of the following reasons-
1. In online business in online business there is more of physical infrastructure required if a company is to operate offline business it needs to have a physical store which requires more manpower, more air conditions, more electricity more people are traveling to the physical Store. Taking into account all these activities it requires more of carbon emission and increases the carbon footprint, hence the impact on the environment is much more in physical store and it is less sustainable as compared to online stone.
2. In online business the big companies such as Amazon simply have their warehouse where there is no big infrastructure and other facilities such as proper lightning air condition required. There is no requirement of prime location also Hence they can operate at a very low cost and they are comparatively environmental friendly as compared to Physical stores so they are more sustainable.
Taking into consideration all these factors which are discussed above it is very easy to conclude that online business are more sustainable as compared to offline business.
