The spike in the number of COVID-19 cases in Ghana has drawn the attention of government and other stakeholders on the need to deploy more contact tracers to identify potential and actual COVID-19 victims. As a student of human resource management, which training method(s) or technique(s) would you recommend to government to use in training the contact tracers. Provide justifications to support your choice(s).

In my opinion, coaching/mentoring is the best training method or technique to be recommended to government to use in training the contact tracers. This is because by effectively coaching the contact tracers about the advantages of proper communication about the incident when they came in contact with a disease infected person and the measures they have taken afterwards will help in containing the disease further and limit it's spread. Also by coaching and mentoring them, the possible remedies to the disease will also be discussed and implemented in an effective manner.
