Some of the reasons that project management fail are:
•   The scope of the project and the requirement gathered initially changes and this leads to a lot of mis-management as time, budget and resources are finalised as per the initially defined scope.
•   Proper communication between interlinked teams is not done which results in failure of projects, it is the responsibility of the product manager to ensure that there is no mismanagement as far as communication and relevant feedback is concerned.

Example: the client in Alibaba asked to set up his company’s page and this entire project failed as the client kept on changing the requirement because of that initially defined scope was not respected.
