In the case, even though Levar is an independent contractor of BU, it is the duty and responsibility of BU to be responsible for all the actions of its team members during the gameplay. It is important to mention that Levar had a full athletic scholarship at BU. However, the important part of the argument is that Levar was playing for BU and for that case, BU is can be held liable for the actions of its players. It is the duty of BU to discipline its players on the field and not to indulge into unappreciated activities. In my opinion, BU is liable for every action of its players on the field because it will take credit even for the independent contract players when they will perform well. Hence, BU is also liable for their every actions on the field.
