  • It gathers and refines principles from older methods.
  • A seperate structure or framework of the tools and methods is used.
  • It defines how perspectives are related according to certain rules and abstractions.
  • It is a 36 cell table model with 6 rows(Scope, business model,system model, technology model, components and working system) and 6 columns (Who, What, When, Where, How and Why).
  • It is useful for the management of complex and evolving IT enterprises.
