Valerie takes Monica's credit card and heads to Nordstrom to buy an outfit for the date, where she makes a large, expensive purchase. With respect to Nordstrom, has Valerie committed a crime? Monica has committed the crime of fraud. She has taken the credit card of Valerie without her permission and made a purchase with the same.
