Answer #1

A)The strategy that Toyota should follow to embark its presence in international markets includes developing new innovative technologies with focus on high quality and creativity. While producing the less polluting vehicles it must also keep in mind the safety element using advanced computer simulations and crash tests. It should consider the needs and characteristics of markets while developing its global strategy. The motive should to focus on consumers while protecting the environement.the company should remain honest and loyal to customers entering the international growing market, stable, slowly and surely.

B)The company should hire local people as host country employees could properly understand the culture and behavior of the host-country market. Adaptability screening process could be done for selection as Past experience is often the best predictor of future success. Then comes the special training process for the employees to help them to be firmly grounded in the economics and practices of foreign countries. Training should focuses on the impact of cultural differences, its further impact on business outcomes. Skill building is provided in areas like language and adjustment and adaptation skills. The wage rates should be determined keeping in mind the cost of living in that country because it can be enormously more expensive to live in some countries. The best way is to equalize purchasing power across countries.
