What is meant by the statement: "as an organization matures the leader's influence is replaced by a strong culture"? Give examples.
When an organization is at its youngest, it is usually based around the leader’s preferences because he/she is the one that has set the standard of what they want the culture to be like. As time passes that beginning culture is overlaid by another layer of added culture because the organization has grown. Sometimes the leader of an organization will move to another job and that organization will be faced with another boss. Will they maintain the same culture, or will this new person attempt to alter it? Another example is once strong culture has been established from the get-go by a leader, other people notice that and are willing to hop on board. As the numbers grow larger and the culture is overlaid, the culture itself becomes larger than the organization itself
