Compare and contrast primary research and secondary research. Are both types of research necessary to complete a full feasibility analysis? Why or Why not

Primary research is the research we do about our project like scope, investments etc., while secondary research is the research we do about previous project of similar topic or studies etc., Primary research is done by us or the team we hire where as secondary research is done using already existing information available. Both primary and secondary research are necessary for complete analysis because while primary research gives infortion about our project we need previous examples also to get clarity and hence they both are necessary for any successful project.
