Are the concepts of lowest unit of measure and just in time the same? Why or why not?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Both of the concepts are different as lowest unit of measure define the capability of a the least amount which can be measured in a specific event.

Just in time is a concept in which producers are physically able to provide accurate forecast demand and manages the inventory in such a way that there is very less gap between different events created in supply chain management to increase the company's overall efficiency as well as the productivity.

As we can clearly see the difference between the two events is that just in time requires proper planning and execution .
