How might companies choose between different strategies when trying to close the planning gap? Discuss with suitable examples. Explain

Homework Answers

Answer #1

The gap is considered as the difference between the current performance of an organization and its desired performance. Before starting the process of closing the planning gap, it is important to gather all the key stakeholders. When companies choose between strategies to close the planning gap, they can improve the divisional performance for more assertive strategies and determined goals. A company can also divert its resources to get different businesses. While closing the planning gap, a company can measure its unrealistic goals and then separate them from the main goals.

Hope this helps :)
