Given values-

Preparing time (handling time) : 1 time unit/piece

Material taking care of Time (Transfer time/Load time ): 2 time unit/piece/move

Section a) case 1 => 14 (2) + 1(1) = 29 time units

case 2 => 7 (2) + 2(1) = 16 time units

case 3 => (2) + 7(1) = 11 time units

case 4 => 1 (2) + 14(1) = 15 time units

So the ideal burden esteem is case 3.

Part B) answer -

Lower the unit load size , prior the activity fulfillment time.
