Answer 1.

Leaders and managers are two different roles in any organization. These two terms look the same and are used interchangeably but they have differences in terms of activities and their job roles in the organization. Leadership is basically attracting and getting people who understand, believe, and follow the leader's vision and work with the leader to achieve the goals. But Management is basically an administrating process and activities that manager will make sure that day-to-day work finishes as it should. The main difference between a leader and a manager is that a leader would have people who follow the leader and work with the leader to achieve his vision and goal, but the manager would have people who will work for the manager as per the guidelines and suggestions from the manager.

The main differences between a leader and a manager are discussed in the below points,

a. Leaders are the people who create a vision and attract the people to follow his vision and help him to achieve that vision. People who follow the leader would help him in turning the vision into reality.

Managers are the people who create the goal as per the direction of organization policy or finishing to certain tasks with the help of a team. The manager controls the day to day activities and his team to achieve the objective.

b. Leadership activity requires inspiration and motivation to get people and form a team of followers that would help the leader to think on the same page and achieve their common vision.

On the other side, Managerial activities are a planning process where the manager would plan the route, process, or steps to reach the objective.

c. Leadership is all about taking the new risks to change the world or the organization and make new policies and processes. They may fail but they won't leave the spirit to take risks and reach their common vision by following their unique path to success.

Managers duty to minimize the risk and control the risk with predefined steps or activities. The manager would avoid or reduce the risk he is facing in the process he is working on.

d. One of the main qualities or characteristics of a leader is that they build a relationship and give more focus on people who follow them. Leaders have the ability to recognize people who are perfect for their vision and influence this kind of person and also build loyalty and confidence with their followers.

The manager gives more focus on systems and processes and they will make sure that systems and procedures are on place to achieve the desired outcomes.

Answer 2.

Entrepreneurial Leadership is the combination of two attributes that is an entrepreneur and leadership. Entrepreneurial Leadership is the activity of achieving a common goal by organizing and influencing a group of people, through selecting an opportunity, taking risk and innovation, and managing the organizational environment. In this process, the leader who is also an entrepreneur will have personal responsibility and managing changes to make benefits for the organization. Entrepreneurial leadership is essential in the new organization where an entrepreneur can build the products or services with the innovation and creativity and the same person with the leadership style can influence and attract employees or teams to self generate, self-correct and self reflect in the organization.

Entrepreneurial Leadership is not a personal or single trait but a combination of different personal attributes. Entrepreneurial leadership style changes in terms of the different contexts in the same organization by the same person. A good entrepreneurial Leader will care for their employees and staff and influence them to be more innovative and creative but at the same time, they also work closely with their team to achieve the desired objective. They also give authority to their team to take proper decisions for the sake of the organization.

Entrepreneurial Leaders would be friendly and approachable for their teams but at the same time they will keep distance to use authority for better decisions and plans for the organization. They will create the environment in the organization where the team members or employee trust their leader but also understand the rewards and penalties when they don't achieve their objectives.

Entrepreneurial Leaders will not impose their solutions to their team but they will sit with them and find the best and alternative solutions to any problems and encourage their employees to find better solutions to any issue organization is facing. They do not use their authority as per their positions but they show the authority as per their expertise and skills.

So we can understand that Entrepreneurial Leadership has different roles for different situations as an entrepreneur leader will have more attributes to use in different situations.
