Project Crashing is the process of reducing the project duration by decreasing the time of one or more than one critical activity in the project. It restricts project activity to lesser time than normally required. The shortening of the time from normal activity is often called crashing. This can be achieved by assigning more resources, measured monetarily (usually in dollars) to the activities which are to be crashed.
