The custom tariff act took place in 1962, which focuses on export and import guidelines. It consists of 17 chapters and 161 sections, as it also has many laws within it. The custom tariff act structure was designed and described as various drawbacks and its efficiencies.
Moreover, its worth says the rates and amount which should be charged while exports and imports. Other than this, many important things should be there in mind, including its limitations to the contractor's goods taken on lease. The contractor also needs to mention all of the goods and services he is acquiring and mention them in the services act liable to this law. Also, the goods should get re-export from nine months to twelve-month time slab.
Export /import permit act central meaning is that it is an act according to which the country's import and exports are handled. Whatever is getting import and whatever is getting export has an eye if government on it. Nothing can happen without interference of the government. The main motive is to limit the use if steel, textile, and weapons. Also, controlling illegal activities and maintaining harmony in the country. All unfair trade practices need to stop, and fair and transparent trade should be there. This act promotes it.
