3. What are the key functions a manager needs to address in order to be effective?
Briefly describe the artefact you chose for this module. Reflect on how this artefact relates to the main functions that managers need to engage in to be effective. Also, reflect on how this artefact will help/assist you in engaging in managerial functions as a future manager.

The role of managers has changed to quite an extent recently and this is because organizations as a whole are changing and that too at a very high pace and therefore the managers needs to be effective enough in order to maintain the business functions and operations and focus on the strengths that they need to focus on. I believe that the most important two of the key functions that a manager needs to address are Planning and Organizing resources. The goals and objectives of the organization needs to be achieved and that is possible only if the planning aspect of the organization is correct and therefore the manager needs to be very much involved in the planning aspect so that the steps defined is as per the aspects defined and achieving proper planning is possible only when the resources of the organization is organized because planning cannot be successful if there is no knowledge of the resources because based on that only it is possible to assert the same.

As a future manager I need to be aware of the details related to planning and organizing so that the project or the organization that needs to be managed are successful and as a manager I am successful as well in my role as a manager.
